Tin Aboteka lies an hour to the north west from Tin Tazarift, and contains, among others the famous figure of a large archer, plus a chariot scene. The two sites can be combined into a single day based from Sefar (though the guides may be unwilling to do this, as in their mindset it's two sites, so it must be two days - and more money). Alternatively, from In Itinen it is possible to continue to Tin Aboteka, camp there, and then continue via Tin Tazarift to Sefar. |
