Gryllus bimaculatus
(Common cricket)
Two specimens were seen in localities separated by more than 200 kilometres. Both sightings were near live vegetation and in the early evening, the crickets walking on the sandy wadi floors. No chirping was heared at either locality, or elsewhere. In Karkur Ibrahim a Sparassus dufouri was noted at the same general location / time.
