(In the Land of the Afghans)

First Edition 1938

An account of a research expedition made by Ligeti, a noted orientalist to Afghanistan in 1936-37. It is known in three binding variants, the Classic IV. full cloth and half cloth variants, and a very rare plain white full cloth binding with just titles and a globe on the cover, common to most titles in 1938-39. At present we do not know whether all the variants were of the same edition or not. The dust jacket is known.
