HEDIN, Sven
Ma Csung-Jin menekülése

(The Flight of Ma Chung-Jin)

First Edition 1936

The fourth title of Hedin to appear in the series, being a part of a three book series describing his travels and experiences to North-western China in 1933-34. This first book describes the events and the author's experiences in the latter stages of the Xinjiang War, translated from the 1935 swedish original by Dénes Mezey. Like all other titles in the seven volume 1936 series, it appeared only Classic IV. full cloth binding. A Classic IV. half cloth version is also known, however as not all 1936 titles have this binding version, it is assumed to date a couple of years later. It is not ascertained whether the half cloth version is a new edition, or a reprint with identical content to the full cloth version. A dust jacket must have existed, but is not known.
