Gazella dorcas

Observations:

  • Karkur Talh (Jebel Uweinat), November 2003, (group of adults)
  • Wadi Wahesh (Jebel Uweinat, at entrance), November 2004 (single adult)

    Gazelle have been sighted in Karkur Talh at dawn from a great distance. Abundant fresh tracks attest their continued presence. One individual was seen and photographed resting in a shady shelter mid-morning at the entrance of Wadi Wahesh.
